A maioria dos edif\u00edcios e templos comuns foram constru\u00eddos c. 800-1450 dC, pouco antes da chegada e conquista do Imp\u00e9rio Inca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At\u00e9 o momento, v\u00e1rias pir\u00e2mides foram descobertas; os arque\u00f3logos identificaram pelo menos 16 pir\u00e2mides at\u00e9 agora.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al\u00e9m das pir\u00e2mides, o local tinha um cemit\u00e9rio e um afresco multicolorido de peixes do per\u00edodo intermedi\u00e1rio inicial (c. 200-600 dC). A maioria da arquitetura e dos templos comuns foram constru\u00eddos durante esta fase (c. 800-1450 dC).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na \u00e9poca em que o Tawantinsuyu (Confedera\u00e7\u00e3o Inca) invadiu a \u00e1rea, os vales do R\u00edmac e Lur\u00edn tinham um pequeno estado que o povo chamava de Ichma. Eles usavam Pachacamac principalmente como local religioso para a venera\u00e7\u00e3o do Pacha Kamaq, o deus criador.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O juntou-se ao Imp\u00e9rio Inca, que utilizou Pachacamac como importante centro administrativo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O Inca o manteve como um santu\u00e1rio religioso e permitiu que os sacerdotes Pachacamac continuassem funcionando independentemente do sacerd\u00f3cio Inca.
